We’re winding down the sale with just a day left, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be checking out the Pixel Enemy Guide. We’re back today with a few suggestions on where to throw your hard earned beans.
Zarmena
I disappeared for a day and came back to seeing some pretty decent deals in a sale that’s been running for 10 days now! Let’s get started.
Whether you have or haven’t played Saint’s Row The Third doesn’t matter. Pick it up for $4.99 because there’s just so much to do in it. For those who are new to the game, buckle up for an insane adventure!
While I had my gripes with Assassin’s Creed III, $23.99 isn’t a bad sale price. Just don’t expect the game to be anything like its predecessors. In my opinion, that isn’t exactly a good thing.
Last but not least, Counter Strike: Global Offensive is available for $5.09 only. The game is packed with action and guarantees some fun so try it out!
Mack
Those wanting to get all hardcore up in the FPS genre will be happy to see Counter-Strike: Global Offensive discounted nicely. I should also remind you that this game is also featured in the “Valve Complete Pack” which offers an insane amount of great games for the insanely low price of $34.00.
Worms Revolution gets my second vote. It keeps the 2D gameplay but has 3D graphics, so it’s the best of both worlds. For hilarious multiplayer moments, and single-player shenanigans, pick up this beauty for $3.74.
Rob
I’m going to agree with Zarmena, Saints Row The Third is totally worth the $4.99 it’s asking for. Tons of missions, hilarious situations and a pretty nice GTA style gameplay that’s totally over the top. I’m playing this right now trying to get it all finished (completionist much?) before Saints Row IV comes out next month. Might have to give up on the side missions and just go for the main story which there are over 40 missions to complete.
The other game I’ll go with today is in a Community Choice at the time of press and that’s Kentucky Route Zero. This little game designed in Unity3D was a real fun play through and it’s episodic so you’ll get more releases as they come. Get the Season Pass for $18.74 if it does get discounted and selected, but even if it doesn’t this game is worth the money spent and supports small independent game developers.
Stay tuned for our last installment of the Pixel Enemy Steam Summer Sale Guide tomorrow!
